| This attractive print, from an original watercolour by Michael Aubrey, depicts Field Court, capturing the dappled afternoon light playing on the stone walks and rich brick of the buldings. It conveys a sense of warmth and tranqility as people stroll through the court, perhaps unaware of the legal minds at work in the surrounding Chambers.
The print has been produced in a Limited Edition of only 350 copies, individually signed and numbered by the artist. It is printed full size on Bockingford watercolour paper which results in its being almost indistinguishable from the original painting. It is presented in a generous double mount, hand bevelled in ivory museum board, in a protective sleeve.
Michael Aubrey is a Fellow of the British Watercolour Society and exhibits internationally. His work is widely collected and found in numerous public and private collections round the world, including those of the Royal Family. Over thirty solo exhibitions of his work have been held in London, Paris, Sydney and several other capital cities, including individual presentations by The British Council.
A contribution of £10 to The Gray's Inn Scholarship Trust is made in respect of each print purchased. |
